History of the Mission


Mother Waddles opens her first soup kitchen in the Cass Corridor in 1957


She organizes Christmas food baskets for the needy in 1970


The warehouse in Hamtramck is in desperate need of a sprinkler system for an occupancy permit


The Mission still continues by delivering needed items directly from donors to those in need
